Wavalyn Odelle DiFabio

Wavalyn Odelle DiFabio, born October 27, 1942, in West Monroe, LA, passed away on December 8, 2025, in Port Jefferson, NY. She leaves a legacy of love, creativity, and deep faith.
For 63 years, she was the devoted wife of Fred DiFabio. She was the loving mother of Joanna (John) Fruhauf, Donna (Brian) Stanfield, and Anthony (Bobbie Jo) DiFabio; cherished grandmother of Daniel, David, Deborah, Justin, Aleena, and Jocelyn; and joyful great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren.
Wavalyn was a gifted, artistic woman who inspired creativity and a love for nature in her family. Above all, she was a woman of strong faith in Jesus Christ, offering encouragement, wisdom, and sincere friendship to many.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but her faith-filled legacy lives on in those who loved her.
Visitation will be held for Wavalyn at Michael J. Grant & Thomas A. Marinello Funeral Home of Coram, on Sunday December 14, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Final Farewells will take place Monday December 15, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial at Calverton National Cemetery to follow.
