Waverly Darlene Strawser

Waverly Starcher Strawser passed away peacefully in Columbus, Ohio on August 3, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Waverly was preceded in death by her parents, Lubica "Emily" (Mance) and Charles Starcher, and leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through her children, Lloyd (Crystal) Strawser Jr., Chrissy Strawser, and Holly Chrysler. She is also survived by her husband, Lloyd Strawser Sr., grandchildren, Shelby, Thomas, Russel (Brittany), Megan, Mason, Destiny, Trent, and Michael Dean; great grandchildren, Camilla and Heidi; dog, Baby; and many friends and family members who will forever cherish her memory. Waverly was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived a life full of music, dancing, and joyful memories. Waverly especially loved spending time with her Cleveland family, and in her younger years, she could often be found hanging out at Buckeye Lake. A dedicated and hardworking woman, Waverly retired after twenty-five years of service at Meijer in Gahanna, Ohio. She had a green thumb and a deep love for flowers, animals, butterflies, and all things purple. Waverly was also a proud Auxiliary member of VFW Post 9857 Paul S. Laurence, where she worked for many years and built lasting friendships. Waverly was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit will live on in our hearts. A Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 2:00pm at VFW Post 9857 Paul S.
