Wayland Spencer Carson born May 21, 1954 of Peabody, Kansas passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones. Wayland was a man full of stories to share at a moments notice and was good at being lighthearted, even during tough times. Classic cars, foreign cars and Chevys were his passion and he loved spending time in his garage doing mechanical and body work. Downtime was spent watching court and murder mystery shows which he loved.He served in both the army and the Marines for several years spending time in Germany, Japan, and South Korea. He held many careers, but his passion was over-the-road trucking, a career that only added to his library of stories to tell.Wayland is survived by his siblings, Elmer Jr., Sharon, Judith, Fred, Kenyon, Keon, Theodore and Bernard. Wayland is survived by his devoted partner of 35 years, Julie. Together, they built a life of memories in a large blended family that he treated as his own.Wayland is also survived by his daughter Yvonne(Michael)
