Wayne Abernethy Obituary
A native of Charlotte, NC Tony moved to Denver with his wife Christy of 8 years. He was a loving father to Brittany, Trevor and stepson Avery, and a dear friend to many. He was a valued employee of Bradley's Truck Service, where he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Tony is survived by his wife Christy, daughter, Brittany Abernethy; stepson, Avery Godfrey; grandchildren, Karson, Lilly Ann, Zayden Willow; father, Robert LeRoy Abernethy; brother, Roy Lee Abernethy; sister, Teresa Abernethy; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Trevor Abernethy; mother, Peggy Abernethy; sister, Kimberly Abernethy and three brothers, Robert, Ernest and Russell Abernethy.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, February 20 at James Funeral Home of Huntersville. The family will receive friends from 11am to 12pm.
