Wayne Borge Obituary
Wayne was born on September 17, 1944, in Gloucester, MA, the son of John and Margaret (Carroll) Borge.
Wayne grew up in Gloucester, Massachusetts, where he attended local schools and was a graduate of Gloucester High School class of 1962. After high school he enlisted in the service where he proudly served in the US Coast Guard and was honorably discharged in 1967. He worked for many years as a master electrician and later as a manager of construction for TJ Maxx, where he traveled extensively all around the country before retiring in 2007.
After retiring Wayne moved to Laconia, New Hampshire with his wife Diane. As an avid boater he loved being out on the water on Lake Winnipesaukee and gathering with many great friends and family. He also loved traveling with his RV, camping all around the New Hampshire/Maine area and in Florida where he and his wife enjoyed many years as snow birds.
Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Diane (Livingston) Borge, son Michael Borge and his wife Caitlin of Kansas City, KS, daughters, Mary Beth Harvey and her husband Phil of Gloucester, MA, Leah McEachern also from Gloucester, MA and Kelly Cox and her husband David from Dighton, MA, ten grandchildren, Kingsley, Cannon, and Fox Borge, Nicholas Livingston, Brooklyn McEachern, Samantha and Jessica Harvey, Emma, Nolan and Charlie Cox and one great-grandchild Olivia Livingston and brother Dana Borge. In addition to his parents, Wayne is predeceased by his brother John 'Jack' Borge.
Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
