Wayne Bruce Buckley, of Manchester, passed away on Saturday. October 18, 2025. He was born on December 7, 1940 to the late Raymond Buckley and Eleanor Sears in Keene, NH. He was lovingly raised by his aunt Alta Mae (Buckley) Davis.
As a teen, Wayne joined the family profession of welding and was extremely proud of being a certified welder. His lifelong passion with cars was legendary. Unless there was a NASCAR race on television (even a 30 year old rerun) he was the most happy in life when he was with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was exceptionally proud and lenient with all of them. Throughout his life his closest friends were his many siblings and cousins.
He leaves his wife of 53 years: Julie (Gagnon) Buckley of Manchester; a son: Raymond Buckley II of Manchester; and four daughters: Lisa (Ronald) Judd of Hammond, Indiana, Michelle Dorsey of Greenfield, Maine, Lori Clarke of Tilton and Tracie Alta Buckley-Karathanasis (Anesti Karathanasis) of Manchester. He leaves his grandchildren: Autumn, Ayden and Grace Clarke of Gilmanton, Taneesha Johnson of Concord, Madelyn Perez (Migel Rosario) and Melina Karathanasis of Manchester; five great grandchildren: Caleb Sanborn, Isabella DeJesus, Benzino Messina of Concord, Malayah and Meliana Rosario of Manchester; two half sisters: Kym Burnham and Kel Burnham, both of Keene; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
He was predeceased by his beloved first grandchild: Juliana Mae Buckley, who died of cystic fibrosis at age 11 on Christmas Day in 2004 and whose passing Wayne never truly recovered from. He is at great peace joining Juliana in heaven.
He was also predeceased by four brothers: Robert, Philip, Frederick and Michael Buckley; and four sisters: Patricia Ames, Janice Leonard, Maxine Lambert and Karn Burnham.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester from 4pm - 6pm. A small private family memorial service will be held at the Mt. Calvary Mausoleum on Goffstown Road, Manchester where Juliana is interned.
