GRAFTON: Wayne L. Clark, 65, was stricken ill and passed away February 16, 2009 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his 4 daughters, Colleen Pope and husband David of Palm Coast FL, Wendy Bennett and husband Joseph, Kim Fitzgerald and husband Steven and Tammy Clark all of Grafton. One brother, Harold "Alvin" Clark, 3 sisters, Pat Roder, Debbie Girotti, Cindy Lopez, 13 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Gertrude (Braio) Clark and a sister Carolyn Sughrue. Wayne was born in Worcester February 3, 1944 raised in Grafton, lived several years in Las Vegas returning to Grafton 10 years ago. Wayne was a graduate of Grafton High School and then worked many years at Bay State Abrasives in Westborough, several years at the Grafton State Hospital, was a truck driver for The Salvation Army and he worked at several casinos in Las Vegas when he lived there. Wayne was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play many different sports. He was an enthusiastic outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting, gardening, studying history and he was a member of The Grafton 4H Club, and official member of the North American Hunting and Fishing clubs. Wayne will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him and will always be remembered for bringing a smile to everyone he met. Memorial donations may be made in his name to The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place, W. Brookline MA 02445 in lieu of flowers. Services & Visitation All are invited to visit with his family at calling hours Friday February 20th from 5 to 7 pm in The Roney Funeral Home North Chapel, 152 Worcester St. North Grafton concluded by a Prayer Service and Celebration of Life at 7 pm.

uncle wayne will be missed by our family as he always had a way to make you smile and laugh and alot of great memories with him. may god rest his soul. we miss him already! our hearts goes out to the entire family at this tough time we send our love to you all

Wayne, you were such a great man always knew how to make someone laugh when they were down, and being so close to Kaycee and her family you could tell by how much they talked about you that you were a very big part of there lives and they loved you greatly.
