Wayne Coppe Obituary
Beloved husband of Diane M. Coppe (nee Giannini), whom he married June 9, 1990, loving father of Elaine Domenica Coppe and Jason Louis Coppe, devoted son of Armand and Phyllis (nee Hughes) Coppe, dear brother of LouAnn (Jeff) Mesch, Tim (Tammy) Coppe, Randy Coppe and Dean (Carrie) Coppe, son-in-law of John and Ann Giannini, brother-in-law of MaryAnn (Duane) Miller, Karen (Gary) Smiley and Lee (John) Piscopo, dear nephew of Lorraine Smith, fond cousin, uncle, great-uncle and friend.
Wayne grew up in Darien, attended Hinsdale South High School and later earned a degree in Business from North Central College in Naperville. He was employed for many years with Rockwell International in Downers Grove, IL and DynamicSignals LLC in Lockport, IL. Wayne was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Naperville and enjoyed fishing, gardening, golfing, water skiing, and listening to live music. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Family and friends will meet Wednesday, May 12, 2021, 10:00 AM to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 2220 Lisson Rd., Naperville, (630) 416-3325, https://www.sesnaperville.org/
Interment will be private.
Arrangements by Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Naperville, IL.

I just found out about Wayne's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. We were high school friends. He was such a kind and caring man. He will be missed.

Wayne was one of the most precious and special people I have ever known. He went though a lot in his life and was always positive and uplifting. He had a wonderful impact on EVERYONE who ever had the privilege and pleasure of knowing him. My heart breaks for Diane, Jason and Elaine.
