Henry Floyd Vander Ploeg

VANDER PLOEG - Henry Floyd Vander Ploeg, age 74 of Wyoming, passed away December 24, 2000 and was called home by his Lord to join his loved wife Lois. Mr. Vander Ploeg was a veteran of the Air Force, member of the Roger B. Chaffee American Legion Post #0154 and a lifetime member of Newhall reformed Church. Henry was preceded in death by two brothers. He is survived by two daughters, Kristi Dale Rozema of Jenison, Lori Alberda of Wyoming; three grandchildren, Jacob and Ashley Rozema, Brandon Alberda; one sister Ann Schmieding of Livonia; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Thursday 11 a.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building with Pastor Clayton Smith of Newhall Reformed Church officiating. Interment Winchester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Newhall Reformed Church. The family will meet with relatives and friends Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie St SW west building.
