Wayne Dembsey

Wayne Allan Dembsey, age 78, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026.

Wayne was the beloved husband of Donna, with whom he shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Jason Dembsey and Jenelle Dembsey, and a loving son of the late Pete and Mildred Dempsey. He was the younger brother of Sharon Richter and a cherished uncle to Jeff LaCosse and Steve LaCosse.

Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970 as a Parachute Rigger and Inspector. Following his military service, he worked as a skilled carpenter specializing in residential homes. Self-employed in his own business, Wayne was known for his meticulous attention to detail and the pride he took in his craftsmanship.

He found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially his daily Pepsi and, above all, his love for dogs. Wayne will be deeply missed by his "grand puppies," Jack-Jack, a Jack Russell mix, and Blue, a Blue Heeler. He is reunited in heaven with his dear dogs, Bailey and Carly, who welcomed him home.

Wayne will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his quiet, steady presence. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
