My wife, Sharon, and I were saddened to hear of Wayne´s passing. we first met him in Cassia playing the mandolin. We so enjoyed playing with him in the country. About a year ago we begin playing "Words with Friends". He beat me most of the time. When several days passed without his playing, we thought maybe he was on vacation. He will surely be missed.

I worked with Wayne as a producer/engineer here and there in 80's & early 90's. Wayne was a talented engineer with keen ears. The last time I saw him, he had finally got that Harrison console working and it sounded gorgeous! Wayne was particularly fond of Robben Ford's playing, and Wayne was no slouch as a guitarist! Rest Peacefully.

Wayne and I got to be friends back in 1978. I was playing in a band "SYBYL" at the time. We collaborated and did some recording sessions with him at His "Castle so to speak" August Studios. A great talent and funny guy. In my opinion he was one of the pioneers for a lot of the bands on the West side of Jacksonville. Many of my classmates from Forrest high School and other musician friends from the other surrounding schools had their lives enriched by his friendship and musical engineering. I will miss you my friend. Gods speed. May God bless all your family at this time of great loss. Your longtime friend Joe Keefer.
