Wayne David Gardinier

Wayne David Gardinier, 63, of Locust, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024, at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Wayne was born July 17, 1961, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Charles David Gardinier and Eleanor Irene Gardinier. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Mutter Gardinier and his brother, Earnest Scott Gardinier.

Wayne loved to spend time with his family. Other hobbies he loved included hunting, shooting guns, and being outdoors surrounded by the people he loved. He loved listening to music and always having a good time.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-4:45 on December 20th at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will follow on December 20th at 5:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. Reverend Jeremy Hyde will officiate the service. Burial will occur in Pompano Beach Cemetery, in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Survivors include son, Cody Wayne Gardinier of Locust, NC; daughter, Jessica Ann Gardinier of Locust, NC; and grandsons, Brantley Gardinier of Locust, NC; and Carson Jenkins of Locust, NC.
