Your loss is so great I can't imagine what it is like. I keep your family lifted up in prayer. I only knew him a short time and I was so sad when they took his name down a TOC. IF YOU EVER NEED ANYTHING PLEASE LET HIS PATIENTS KNOW

He operated on two of my shoulders for rotator -cuff. He tried to alleviate my pain other ways before resorting to surgery. My both shoulder are free of pain today thanks to Dr. Goodson. He also operated on my wife's shoulder. He was a great doctor and an asset to the TOC center. The world will miss Dr. Goodson. Will say prayer for him

I was shocked to just learn of Dr. Goodson's passing. Dr. Goodson was a caring doctor who was concerned about the outcome of my surgeries. He was an oustanding surgeon who replaced both of my hips with excellent results. I am a Nurse Practitioner and a Professor at a University that teaches Nurse Practitioners, and fully appreciate the care I received from Dr. Goodson and his team. I have referred multiple individuals to Dr. Goodson. He will be missed by myself and the many patients he helped. My thoughts and pryaers go out to his family.

I will forever be grateful for those who: recommended Dr. Goodson to me, taught him to always seek excellence, taught him his surgical skills, were a great example to him during his life, served on his team at TOC, served him when he became ill, and especially those who continue to serve his family at this time of great loss. I had the honor of working with Dr. Goodson several years at TOC and he was a very gentle spirit. Such a shock that he is gone. My heart is with his family and I hope peace for them.

I am in complete disbelief of Dr Goodsons passing. I am a disabled veteran and he was one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. After my surgery I walked around and told everyone that Dr Goodsons hands were ordained by God and he made me the bionic woman with my new hip. Just learned today of Dr. Goodson's passing. I am devastated. I have my one year check up after my knee replacement next week. I loved his sweet nature and trusted him like no other. He will be impossible to replace. My heart breaks for his family. May God give you strength to face your lives without him.

I was one of his few patients younger than him. Dr. Goodson gave me a life that I never knew was possible when he gave me 2 new knees. That his life has been cut so short, is just so unfair. My condolences to his family, and gratitude to the universe for his having been here.

To the precious family of Dr. Goodson and everyone at THE ORTHOPAEDIC CENTER who lost this special man. I worked for Dr. Goodson as a transcriptionist a few years back shortly after he came to The Orthopaedic Center. The first memory I have of him is him asking me how I genuinely felt about something at the time. I was so impressed with him and how he cared. He had not been there terribly long and took time out of his busy day to ask me how I personally felt about something and I knew he truly cared and was different in a special way. I moved on to the hospital after he came but I have told that story about how he truly cared about us as employees and consider it an honor to this day to have known him. I know his precious family, medical family and patients felt that 100 fold. My heart was so saddened to hear this news. I am working for The Orthopaedic Center again remotely and my heart genuinely goes out to precious Ms. Goodson and children and family, all his family at The Orthopaedic Center and his patients. My prayers remain with you all. I am certain he will be greatly missed by his family, by the medical community and all of his patients. God bless you all.

Very shocked and surprised to hear Dr Goodson passed away.
He did my hip replacement two years ago. He was a brilliant doctor. Who took extra precautions due to my high risk for infections. He will be missed by so many people he touched so many lives.

He was such a great doctor, good man, he was also kind, funny and compassionate man. He understood what it meant to get rid of the pain, to live a full life again and he was willing to help a person reach that end. I am sure there are so many people out there with parts in them that he put there that he will not be forgotten for a long time. I wish his family all the peace possible. I understood there were people that would fly to America to see if they could have him for their doctor. We were so blessed to have him in our community and our lives.

Doctor Goodson was a wonderful man full of compassion and dedication for his patients. On one occasion I asked if he would like to see my new support socks. He replied, " Absolutely and then I will show you mine." He will be sorrowfully missed by this community.

My husband and I drove from Knoxville, TN in April for Dr. Goodson to replace my right knee. He came highly recommended to us and we will forever be grateful for what he has done to help me. Dr. Goodson made it possible for me to think about playing tennis again. He was soft spoken and would smile at my requests to be able to play singles. Dr. Goodson was one of "the good ones". He was an excellent doctor and a kind, warm, gentle, caring person. He took care of my husband when he fell, injuring his shoulder. I was referred to him by my internist when my shoulder began giving me problems. The surgery went well. So, when both of us found we needed the other shoulders repaired, we returned to Allen. My husband had been talking with him about having knee surgery.

Dr Goodson was there for my knee replacement in 2006 and my son's knee about 2014, as well as shoulder repair for both of us. He would say a prayer with us prior to our surgeries. What a wonderful Christian physician. The care we received before and post surgery was remarkable. When time allowed, he would bring his son to deer and turkey hunt on our farm. He was truly a wonderful "friend" as well as our surgeon. His passing has left a deep emptiness in our heart and lives. He "is just asleep" and we will see him soon.
