Wayne Mitchell Green, 69, of Cleveland, TN passed away on August 30, 2025. He was born on March 29, 1956 to the late Olin and Edna Mae Stiles Green.
He loved flying, working on airplanes, and collecting tractors. He loved being outdoors in the mountains and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Wayne was a member of Sugar Creek Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers Leo Green, Steve Green, Dale Green, Terry Green; brother-in-law Jimmy Bailey.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Ashley McLain (Hunter), sons: Derek Green and Kevin Green; sister Barbara Bailey; brothers: Dennis Glen Green, Ken Green; grandchildren: Emerson Green, Neyland Green, John Thomas McLain, Isaac Anthony McLain, Madeline Rose McLain. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Wayne's family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm on Saturday September 6th at Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church with a memorial service to follow at 2pm. Rev. Hunter McClain will be officiating the service. He will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens following the service.
