Wayne Victor Hornberg, age 74, of Winona, MN, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, at St. Anne Extended Health Care.
Wayne was born February 18, 1952, in Winona, the son of Victor and Betty (Thompson) Hornberg. He was united in marriage to Susan Larsen on July 21, 1973 in Wilson, MN. He was a life-long farmer, and heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wilson. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Sue; children: Todd, Tina (Neil), and Shawn (Kinsey); grandchildren: Karley (Brady), Hunter, and Orian, Cody (Ella), Callie, and Averie, Dawson, and Ari; great-grandchildren: Keelyn, and Dryver; siblings: David (LeeAnn) Drussell, Debra (Rik) Nay, Renee (Steve) Larsen, and Diane (Don) Eide.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Per Wayne’s final wishes, a private immediate family service is being held, with a private interment at a later date.
