Wayne Kelchner, 70, of Quakertown, passed away suddenly on November 26, 2025. He was born in Palmerton, PA, on August 24, 1955 to Janet (Fritzinger) Kelchner and the late Carl W. Kelchner. Wayne was the loving husband of Joann (Miller) Kelchner for 26 years. He was a stone mason almost his entire life, starting as a teenager. Both in his work and in many other walks of life he was completely self taught. Wayne was always willing to help everyone, and made friends everywhere he went. He loved to make things for his family and friends, and often showed affection that way. Wayne was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed getting out on the water in a boat, canoe, or kayak. He was also an avid coin collector his entire life. Wayne loved to spend time with his grandchildren, and was always there for them.
Wayne is survived by his wife Joann; mother Janet; daughter Courtney Cerep (James Norton Jr.); grandchildren Kyarra Hutchins & Xzavier Norton; siblings Karlene Laub (Bob), Warren Kelchner (Diane), Tim Kelchner (Kristin Stires), Ed Kelchner (Tracy); nieces; nephews; and many other loving family and friends. He is predeceased by his father Carl; and brother Peter.
All are invited on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 to Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951 for a visitation from 10:00-11:30am and a memorial service at 11:30am.
