Wayne Emanuel Lunk

Wayne Emanuel Lunk, age 59, of Richland Center, passed away at his home after managing heart failure for 10 years on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. He was born on September 28, 1965, in Richland Center to Emanuel Lunk and Anita Gillingham. On September 13, 2002, Wayne married Dianna (Mueller) at Ash Creek U.M.C., and together they shared 23 years of marriage. Wayne had a deep love for the outdoors, especially bass fishing. One of his proudest moments came in 1995 when he placed 45th in a Minnesota Bassmaster Amateur Class fishing tournament. He also enjoyed picking morel mushrooms and took great pride in his Trans Am. He also had a lifelong love for animals, especially his dogs, and will be fondly remembered for his kind and gentle spirit. He is survived by his loving wife, Dianna of 23 years; his mother, Anita Stieneck; his son, Jeremy (Elise) Leer; and two cherished grandchildren, Olive and Frankie. His sisters, Cindy (Dan) Lunk Palacious of Charlestown, IN; Miriam (Ben) Estes of Lake Nebagamon, WI; Deanna (Brian) Christensen of Floyd's Knobs, IN; half-sister, Annika Williams of Jeffersonville, IN; step mom, Nancy Lunk of Richland Center; step sister Jennifer (Ryan) Andreae of Delano, MN; and step brother Jason (Haley) Edwards of Lone Rock. He is further survived by sisters-in-law Kathy Mueller of Nekoosa, Melinda (Roy) Roden of Blackhawk, SD, and Deanna (Randy) Hunt of Muscoda; brothers-in-law Tim (Deb) Mueller and Doug (Fran) Mueller, both of Richland Center; his beloved dog, CoCo; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Emanuel Lunk. A Celebration of Wayne's Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Clary Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Cecil Richardson officiating. Visitation will be held the same day from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the family.
