Wayne always showed concern for the relatives; especially remarkable was his hands-on care of his dad.

When asked to take his for my phone contact, Wayne (in his crotchetyest old New Englander voice): 'I take lousy pictures!'

After I took it, I said 'it looks good!' He was happy with the result. He was happy and we were laughing that afternoon. This is how I'll remember him.

I was saddened to hear of Wayne´s passing ,as he was a wonderful neighbor. Each spring, when his lilacs bloomed, he always encouraged me to take some cuttings for our table. He always showed interest in us and our grandchildren. He will be missed.
