Wayne Millsap Obituary
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother.
Wayne was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church of Charlotte for 16 years. He proudly served his country as a United States Air Force veteran and worked as a switchman for BellSouth until his retirement. An avid fisherman, he was also known for his quick wit and love of joking, bringing smiles to those around him.
Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life and wife of 61 years, Iris Hart Millsap; sons, Scott Millsap (Anita) and Jason Millsap (Susan).
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church of Charlotte on Friday, February 6, 2026.
Wayne's celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church of Charlotte with Pastor Jack Homesley officiating.

Wayne was one of my favorite first cousins. . . always ready with a tall tale, a good story or just a fun time. He, Iris, Scott and Jason shared many good times with us during visits to Abingdon. May your many good memories fill you with comfort and peace. Joyce Millsap
