Conny Wayne Morris of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed from this life on September 24, 2025, at Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky. He had attained the age of 76 years, seven month and 24 days.
In keeping of his wishes, Wayne was cremated.
Wayne enjoyed gardening, raising cornish game hens, listening to swap shops on the radio, shooting pool, and spending time with his numerous friends and family.
He was born in Dallas, Texas, on January 31, 1949, to the late Walter and Lucille (Hendricks) Morris. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie Earl Morris of Texas and Anthony Gayle Morris of Pine Knot, Kentucky.
Surviving family include three sons, Greg Morris, Craig Morris, and Steven Morris, all from Texas; two sisters, Debbie Wood of Whitley City, Kentucky and Patricia (and Robert) Horne of Arlington, Texas, and brother Woody Morris, also from Texas.
His grandchildren are Amelia Johnson (and Scottie), Philip Morris (and Phoenix), Laney Michel (and Dawson), Kellie (and Katie) Seggerman, Cameron Morris, and Lia Morris, Wayne also had three great-grandchildren in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
