Wayne J Parker

Wayne J. Parker, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 71 in his hometown of Perry, Florida. Born on April 20, 1954, Wayne dedicated his life to mastering the art of carpentry and bringing beauty into homes through his skilled craftsmanship. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Wayne found joy and serenity in the great outdoors, particularly fishing along the scenic banks of the Econfina River. His passion for nature was matched only by his love for woodworking, where he showcased his remarkable talent for creating exquisite benches and remodeling homes to enhance their charm. Each project he undertook was a testament to his dedication, creativity, and attention to detail.
He spent a notable part of his career working as a driver and deliverer at Coca-Cola, where his friendly demeanor and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on his colleagues. Wayne's warm heart and infectious laughter brightened the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Parker and Ave Lee Morgan-Parker; his brothers, Larry and Willie; and his sister, Martha.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Parker, who stood by his side through life's many journeys. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with cherished memories, family gatherings, and shared love. He is also survived by his children, Micheal, Sandy, Sherry, and Lamar; his brothers and sisters, Gilbert, Jimmy, Glenda, and JoAnn; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and his two beloved dogs, Jack and Danny.

As we remember Wayne J. Parker, let us celebrate his legacy of kindness, craftsmanship, and unwavering love for his family and community. His spirit will continue to inspire us all to appreciate the beauty in our surroundings and the joy of spending time with those we hold dear.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
