Wayne LeRoy Passon

Wayne LeRoy Passon, 62, of Saint Peter, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025 at home.

Wayne was born on August 2, 1963 in Saint Peter, Minnesota to Delpha and Albert Passon. He grew up in Saint Peter and graduated from Saint Peter High School.

Wayne was known for playing endless games of cards, meticulously cleaning his vehicles, and being the best Papa he could to his four grandchildren. He had a career in building maintenance with the City of Saint Peter and other handy-man jobs. He could fix just about anything. Outside of work, he spent his time camping with friends, fishing with his dad, brother and son, volunteering with the Nicollet County Fair Board of Directors, Boy Pioneers, and for his church Saint Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife Carrie; son Brandon (daughter-in-law Allison); daughter Brittany (son-in-law Chris); grandchildren Logan, Bennett, Margaret, and Travis; brother David; and mother Delpha.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father Albert and mother-in-law LaDonna Thompson.

A service will be held at Saint Peter Evangelical Lutheran in Saint Peter, Minnesota on Friday, September 5 at 11am. Visitations will be held on Thursday, September 4 from 4-7pm and Friday, September 5 at 10am at Saint Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church.
