Dr. Wayne Settle Paullus Jr.

We still miss him every single day. There are so many reasons I am grateful to this man. So many members of my family were blessed because of him.

The first time I meet him he was caring and compassionate he preformed my surgery's when I was 8 he helped me get through a very difficult time.he only gave me an 8% to live but am now 42 because of him

Dr paullus saved my life. I never could think of a good way to show him my gratitude. Solid man of a rare breed you don't meet often...

Becky and I send our deepest sympathies to Debbie and family.I loved his hunts at the family ranch.I looked so forward to spending time with the guys on his annual fall hunt.He made a big difference in the community through his surgical career.Rest in Peace Wayne.

I had the opportunity to treat his surgical pts for Physical therapy for 15-20 years at NWTHS but by far he will be remembered for saving my mother´s life in 2010 after she suffered a ruptured massive brain aneurysm. He met me in the ER and took the time to show me the damage and took my mom to surgery! I thank God he was on call that day and all the great care he provided for her. She completely recovered after 4 months because of his knowledge and skills and his complete dedication. He told me everyday for a month he gave her a 10% chance to survive and that she did shocked him too! He will be forever missed here in the medical community of Amarillo. I just want his family to know what a great Doctor he was with an example of his success. Prayers for his family

The 1st time I met Dr. Paullus was when my daughter went to him. She was in extreme pain and could not function. She is a big girl. He took one look at her and said, "boy you are really thick". I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. After her surgery he came up to me to let me know how things went and asked me how long she had been in so much pain? I told him for years. He said he had never seen anyone that was that bad and could still function. I honestly believe he saved her life!! He will definetly not be forgotten by our family!!! Prayers for his family
