Wayne Rasor

Wayne Rasor, 83, of White Hall, was an avid golfer known for his quick wit, funny demeanor and overall selflessness who always saw the good in everyone.

He passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at home surrounded by his family.

Wayne was born August 24, 1942, in Paris, Texas, son of Fay and Edith Jones Rasor.

He moved to Arkansas at a young age and was reared and received his early education in White Hall.

Wayne pastored several churches in Mississippi, Texas and Arkansas. He owned and operated Pro Tank Lining before "retiring" and starting a family restaurant, The Lighthouse Restaurant in White Hall. He sold the restaurant in 2013.

He was active in the White Hall community, serving on the advertisement and promotion committee for several years that helped build the James "Jitters" Morgan White Hall Community Center.

As an avid golfer, Wayne achieved 11 holes in one throughout his lifetime and was a member of the Jaycees Golf Course.

Along with his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by a brother, J.C. Rasor; and sister, Etta Faye Delahunt.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Helen Monk Rasor, whom he married July 25, 1967, in Ida Bell, Oklahoma; children, Daniel "Danny" Rasor (Lesley), Jimmy Carroll Ingram, Deanna Smith (Michael) and David Brashier (Laura); brother, Dean Rasor (Carra); sister, Freda Pennington; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Brother Mike Holcomb and Brother Tim Law officiating. Interment will follow in White Hall Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. until service time at Robinson and Fuller in White Hall.
