Wayne Joseph Schiwal was born in Dickinson on June 13, 1955 to Anton and Martha (Roller) Schiwal. He attended school in Baker, Montana as well as Dickinson and Mott.
Wayne was a creator, often building things or figuring out how things were made. He enjoyed his job at the Ford Motor Company in Mott, and attended a Work Program at ABLE, Inc. Wayne moved into his ABLE, Inc. home in January of 2013. Wayne enjoyed watching classic shows like Gunsmoke, Bonanza, or the Andy Griffith Show. He also created many Lego projects and took great pride in caring for his fish tank. Wayne was a deeply faithful person, calling on prayers to give him strength and courage. Over the last few months, Wayne went on trips and fulfilled many of the things on his bucket list with his staff at his home.
Wayne is survived by his brothers, Howard (Faye) Schiwal, Robert (Linda) Schiwal, and Kenneth Schiwal, nieces and nephews, and his ABLE family. He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sibling. While his mother was alive, Wayne enjoyed phone calls and visits to Evergreen. He spoke of looking forward to reuniting with his mother for the holidays in heaven.
