Wayne Lawrence “Larry” Scott, aged 68, passed on September 22, 2025. Larry lived most of his life in Essex, Maryland. He graduated from Kenwood High School in 1974 and earned his Plumber/ Gasfitter license from ABC Contractor School in 1978. He enjoyed his career as a commercial plumbing foreman until his retirement. Larry was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved history, trains, classic rock and country music and concerts. But most of all, Larry loved his family. He was a Boy Scout leader who loved camping with his family and attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and recitals.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Eileen Scott, nee Burgemeister. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cynthia A. Scott, nee Krach, daughter Andria Hagan and her husband Robert, son Eric Scott and his wife Brandy, granddaughter Quinn Hagan, and grandsons Killian Hagan and Orion Scott. Beloved brother-in-law to Kim, Jim, Ken, Donna, Connie and Jeff, Larry will be missed by many loving nieces and nephews.
