Wayne Smith Obituary
He was born May 24, 1941, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Wilson and Blanche Baldwin Smith.
He was veteran serving with the U.S. Air Force.
Wayne was a Port Authority Bus Operator retiring after 34 years of dedicated service.
A simple man by nature, Wayne was a car enthusiast and collector of old cars.
Surviving are two sons, Wayne A. (Sandra) Smith, II, and Bryan C. (Darlene) Smith; a daughter, Lynette D. Smith; a stepson, James F. Harby; nine grandchildren, Wayne A. Smith, III, Melany E. Smith, Karry C. Smith, Bryan C. Smith, II, Claysa B. Smith, Anthony Ostermeyer, Amanda Ostermeyer, Marissa Harby and James F. Harby, Jr.; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is his wife, Patricia J. Smith, and two brothers, Paul Smith and William Smith.
Friends are welcome from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, in the Beinhauer-Fryer Funeral Home, 430 Washington Avenue, Bridgeville (412-221-3800). A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. Entombment and Military Honors will be held at Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery. Please add tributes at www.beinhauer.com
