Wayne was born January 9 1959 in East Orange, NJ to Oscar and Elizabeth Snelling. He graduated from East Orange High School in 1978. Wayne was employed as a property manager. He enjoyed to work and spend time with friends . He also enjoyed watching movies, riding bicycles, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren. Wayne is survived by his five children, Erica L Page (Snelling) and her husband, Damien Page of Evans GA, Elizabeth Snelling of Marietta GA, Evan Snelling of Marietta Georgia; Martin Green of Dallas TX; Jasmine Davis of Atlanta GA; six grandsons, Kevin White Jr, Eric White, Sean White, Michael White , Xavier Page and Brayden Snelling; 3 granddaughters ; 1 nephew, Yvoris Snelling and his wife Aricka Snelling of Douglasville GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Oscar Snelling Sr and also preceded in death by his brother Oscar Snelling Jr. Wayne leaves behind also a host of cousins, aunts and extended family whom he loved dearly. A Special Thank you to Ms Pam Leon, and the Temple Israel for all of their love and support. A Special Thank you to Dr Gloria Rodgers and the Cathedral House of Prayer, for opening their home and hearts to us. Memorial services will be Saturday, 12/12/2015 at 2:00 pm. I don't know why but it still feels like yesterday when we went to cc pizza and had the best time of our lives. Its been six years since i saw you i miss you grandpa i think some advice from you would be amazing right now or even a phone call. For anyone who sees this Wayne or "strong grandpa" was awesome and me and my brothers loved him dearly. Every summer we would visit our grandmother and get excited for him to come and eithet steal us for the day or spend time we would either explore Columbus or go to the park. I wished i can go back to those days or have another day with you at least... It hurts because one of my siblings Xavier can't have amazing moments with you but dont worry i'll play his wingman like you for us. Remember when you tried your best to get me and my siblings so bad girlfriend when were children the funniest thing is they were never our age they were around your age! Dont worry, Eric and Xavier picked up your trait from you! I know xavier cant have moments like this but i'll try to recreate them when he gets older. Its been almost 6 years, i thought I might give you an update, i joined the army it didnt really work out the way i wanted but thats okay i'll have two degrees by next year. I went to culinary school and graduated (since i always said i wanted to be a chef). Eric enlisted in the marines and got a full ride to school. Buba would be proud of sean just graduated HS and finally going to college he's stubborn like grandma.
Michael is almost done with highschool but i feel like hes gonna go farther than all of us. Xavier is tall but still cant speak yet once he starts talking thats when the adventures can start. Mom is still mom but we all miss you. I would mention grandma but your already with grandma arguing right now over Us! I know it will be decades before i can see you again can but when i do i have some stories for you

continue to rest on my dear friend i know you up there driving Jesus crazy every evening with that good music cause i remember when riding in that little black truck the music would be so loud my mom(rih) would tell you if you don't trun that music down you better we have some good times together love and miss you my dear friend
