Wayne Liberty Stalcup

We had no idea that Mr. Stalcup had passed away until I was opening business mail. I'm so sorry to have missed his funeral. He was a good neighbor, an extremely interesting person, and a gentleman. The Burks family will miss him.

Wayne had long been a friend of my parents, William and Charlotte Franklin - as far back as the early to mid 1950s.
I am the youngest of three boys and my middle name was given in honor of Wayne.
My brothers and have wonderful memories of Wayne and always called him Uncle Wayne.
My deepest condolences.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Wayne's family he was a wonderful GENTLEMAN loved and cared for his wife very much. We met him while sharing dinner with friends many years ago always enjoyed his company. He was a man of impeccable character.

I first met Wayne in 1978. 40 years of friendship to a friend that could be called "the perfect gentleman" He had a wonderful long life and did an amazing job taking care of his wife during her last years especially. You will certainly be missed Wayne and know that you were dearly loved by all that crossed your path.

Wayne was a great guy with a good cense of humor. He was a big help with helping to understand Alzheimer's and how it works. He is greatly missed at church.

A True Hero whom I cherished his friendship and comradeship. Wayne is another Angel sent to Heaven to watch over. God Bless You Wayne and your Family/Friends.
