Wayne Lewis Stickney, 72, of Fort Gratiot, died Monday, May 14, 2018.
He was born August 5, 1945 in Port Huron to the late Harold and Georgiarose Stickney. He married Theresa Ann Parrish on December 29, 1978 in Port Huron.
Mr. Stickney was employed with Ford Motor Company for 29 years, retiring from the Romeo Engine Plant in 2003, and was a member of UAW Local 400. He loved animals, travel, watching NASCAR, remote control cars, and anything with an engine. He enjoyed days spent on the water on his SeaRay "Lady Tess."
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Theresa; a daughter, Kimberly Fleury; three sons, Rodney (Nancy) Stickney Carson, Roger (Gina) Fleury and Kevin (Mary-Beth) Fleury; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; eight siblings, Rosella Louks, Shirley (Howard) Stein, Margaret Holmes, Loreen Howe, Cheryl (Don) Wahl, Lora (Doug) Howe, Irene (Mike) Grosser and Cathy (Bill) Mumford; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sidney Parrish, David (Peggy) Parrish, Sylvia (Ron) Shaffer, Laura (Gene) Sawdon, Lisa Maes and Gloria (Vern) Collins; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Cricket.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffry Fleury; his adoptive parents, Eileen and Leonard LaMotte; brothers, William, James and Lawrence "J.R." Howe; sisters, Nancy Warshefski and Linda Johnson; and a brother-in-law, Charlie Maes.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at noon.
