Wayne Ray Tucker was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on February 13, 1963. He passed away at his Grantville, GA home surrounded by loved ones on the morning of November 25, 2025, after a hard and bravely fought battle with brain cancer.
Wayne had a rich life filled with great friends, loving family and many amazing adventures. He served his country proudly while in the Navy for over 8 years that took him from coast to coast, to Antarctica, to Africa and many ports in between.
Wayne never had any children of his own, but his many nieces and nephews were blessed with his undivided attention, love and advice freely given. It was easier to talk with Uncle Wayne than anyone else and they were all fortunate to have him in their lives.
Wayne is survived by his parents Jerry and Irene Tucker of Grantville; older brother, John Tucker and his wife Marcia of Grantville; older sister, Lorene Adams and her husband Tim of LaGrange; younger brother, Harold Tucker and his wife, Robin of Newnan; his youngest brother Jim Tucker of Grantville and his many, many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his younger sister, Joyce Elizabeth Tucker Jones.
A memorial service is not being planned.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to your local Humane Society.
