Wayne Boyd Williams

Wayne B. Williams, born on May 7, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, peacefully passed away at the age of 84 on October 29, 2025, in Zephyrhills, Florida. A man of great warmth and spirit, Wayne spent his life weaving stories and sharing laughter with everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
Wayne dedicated many years of his life to his work as a machine repairman at Ford Motor company in Michigan, where he demonstrated remarkable skill and commitment. His hands, which once repaired machines also tenderly fed ducks in the local park, a simple pleasure that brought him great joy and peace.
Outside of work, Wayne was an enthusiastic member of the Zephyrhills Elks Club and an active participant in Post 0118 of the American Legion in Zephyrhills. With a heart full of stories and a life filled with dedication, he inspired all who knew him.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Minor Otto and Glada Lee Sprlock Williams; and his sisters Bobbie Langford and Janice Williams. He leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience through his devoted with of 31 years, Judy; his son, Tim Williams; his daughters Wendi Scharrer, Marcy Ford, and Jenny Mullins; his step-children Tina Stockdale and Mark Howcroft; his brothers, Marlyn and Dennis Williams; his sisters, Sharon Duty and Doris Greer; his many grandchildren and many great grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his spirit of kindness and storytelling.
Though Wayne's physical presence may have left this world, his stories and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. He lived a life full of simple joys and meaningful connections, teaching us all the importance of sharing our lives with others and leaving a legacy of love.
