So sorry to learn of Dempsey´s passing. What a good friend he was to the members of the Montgomery County League of Women Voters! He is sorely missed.

My heart breaks for your loss Kathie and family. He was a good good man and I'm sure he was proud of his family and legacy, as he should.

Dempsey was a highly committed and thoughtful academic leader. He was a supportive colleague to many of the faculty members who served in the original College of Education at Virginia Tech. Sincere condolences to his family and the many friends who valued their relationships with him, and appreciated his high ethical standards and genuine concern for their personal welfare.

Sorry to hear of Wayne´s passing. He was always a friend and colleague. He helped so many with our challenges in education and leadership. Always a friend and always willing to help. He will be sadly missed.
