Weldon Barden Obituary
He was born November 5, 1940, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Virgil and Ruth Dikeman Barden.
Weldon was a 1958 Graduate of Jamestown High School.
Before his retirement he worked as a master plumber/foreman for the U.A. Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 22.
Weldon was a member of the War Veterans Recreation Inc, Lakewood Rod & Gun Club Inc, Jamestown Moose Lodge 1681, Vikings Lodge IOV 65, and the First Ward Falcon Club. He enjoyed driving around in his restored 1977 Corvette and attending local car shows with his family.
Surviving is his wife Kathy Dahlquist Barden whom he married February 4, 1961; his three children: Robin Barden, Scott (Brenda) Barden, and Todd (Tina) Barden of Jamestown; his six grandchildren: Jeffrey, Bryen, Kasey, Kaitlynn, Dalton, and Haley; four great grandchildren: Jordan, Jayden, Bronx, and Barrett; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Gail Barden Johnston and his brother Ralph Barden.
The funeral service will be held at 5 pm on Monday June 16, 2025, at the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 pm three hours prior to the service in the funeral home.
Burial will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Weldon was a wonderful and fun fellow I've known him for many many years and his wife Kathy May he rest in peace.
