Passed away on Thursday April 3, 2025, at the young age of 53. Weldon was born in Dallas, Tx to Hester Carney and Weldon Harrell Featherston Sr. on Friday, December 3, 1971. Weldon grew up in the Quinlan/West Tawakoni area. Weldon married the love of his life Melissa Dawn on October 22, 1994. Within that marriage they had 4 children and 6 grandchildren. During Weldon’s lifetime he was a mechanic and a wrecker driver. Weldon had a love for motorcycles and cars. They were his passion.
Proceeded in death by his parents, baby sister Bridget and grandparents
Weldon is survived by his loving wife: Melissa Dawn, his sons : Dalton and Harley Featherston, step son: Leonard Elledge and step daughter: Sara Elledge, and 6 grandchildren. His sissy Marie and husband Michael Tacker, his baby brother Kevin and wife Kimberly Featherston and 3 step brothers, Hayward Jr.(Laura), Darrow (Margie), and Jeff(Amber). Many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He loved Everyone
Pallbearers: Dalton, Harley, Chandler, Chase Featherston, Casey and Corey Tacker.
Honorary Pallbearers: Michael Richards, Joey Featherston, Kevin Featherston
Visitation will be held at Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel Monday, April 7, 2025 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
Graveside services will be held at Mills Cemetery in Garland, TX Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 12:00p.m.
