Mr. Wendell Samuel Cooley

Wendell was reliable and he did not duck a challenge. Wendell was not one to evade a problem; if his shift experienced a problem, they admitted it, worked to correct it, and applied what they learned from the incident to prevent another. If Wendell thought a job could be done better, he said so and was usually correct.

After my retirement, my interaction with Wendell was typically a phone call about some investment opportunity on which he wanted input or for which he felt he owed input. Here, again, Wendell's instincts were usually correct.

I will miss Wendell's sage advice. My condolences go to the family. -- Steve Osborne
