Wendell Johnson Obituary
Mr. Wendell Orrion Johnson of NW Atlanta, passed away on September 21, 2025. His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Murray Brothers Chapel. Minister John Bealing, officiating. Interment Westview Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble in the Chapel, at 12:30 PM, on the day of service.
Wendell leaves behind his loving mother, Julia Johnson; his children: J'acinta Johnson, Quatesuis Johnson, Jihan Walker, Ebony Johnson, and Orrin Johnson; siblings: Keith Johnson (Stephanie) and Althea Frimpong (George); twelve grandchildren; Derrick Robinson Jr, Camari White, Raheem Spivey, Khalecia Spivey, Marcus Coats Jr., Kashaela Johnson, Jayden Dean, Jashon Blyden, Jordan Dean, Alez Johnson, Legend Johnson, Kymani Johnson; great-grandson, Kyro Maxie; one niece, four nephews, and a host of devoted cousins and friends.
Public Viewing will be held Monday, from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at Murray Brothers Cascade Chapel, 1199 Utoy Springs Rd.. SW, Atlanta, GA 30331, (404) 349-3000.
