Wendy Michelle Jefcoat Barbee, 54, a homemaker, died September 27, 2025, peacefully at home. Visitation is Thursday, October 2, 2025, 10:00am - 11:00am at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS. Graveside services are 11:00am Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Clarksdale, MS. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.

Wendy was born on May 9, 1971, in Clarksdale, MS, and she graduated from Clarksdale High School in her hometown, laying the foundation for a bright future. As a dedicated homemaker, Wendy actively contributed to her community through the American Legion Women's Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary. Wendy's passion for coed softball has spanned for many years, inspiring her daughter to follow in her footsteps and was delighted in watching her grand babies play the game she loves.

Wendy found joy being at the river and loved the beach as well. She was an avid outdoorsman; she loved bow hunting and camping. She discovered a deep sense of fulfillment in a wide range of activities, from cooking, baking to nurturing friendships and strengthening family bonds, as well as expressing her creativity through crafting and crocheting.

Wendy was a strong willed southern loving Mother, Mimi who was a fighter with a big heart. She was big about her family, and she was a sports loving Ole Miss fan!! Wendy always gave her all and supportive of loved one's goals. She was a passionate supporter of the military and a big advocate for its value. Wendy would go above and beyond for the people she loved.

Survivors include her husband Terry Barbee of Judsonia, AR; son Austin "Zaine" Barbee of Judsonia, AR; daughter Ashlee Reed of Greenbrier, AR; sisters Debra (Clyde) Long of Kosciusko, MS, Denise Jefcoat of West Helena, AR; two granddaughters Annalee Reed & Addison Reed.

Preceded in death by her parents Dennis & Minnie Woods Jeffcoat.
