Wendy Walker Brady

     Wendy Walker Brady, 48, of Morganton, passed away following a lengthy illness, on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Carolina Caring Hospice in Newton.

     Wendy was born in Morganton, NC on January 14, 1978, to the late Howard Gene Walker and Linda Louise Lowdermilk Walker. She was a lifelong member of Bethel Methodist of Dry Ponds Church. Wendy was a very friendly and compassionate person who loved her Church family. She enjoyed trips to the beach and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will always be greatly missed and remembered.

     Those left to cherish her memory include three children, Macayla Brady (Robert), Dakota Brady, and Kaitlyn Brady; a brother, Scotty Walker (Tina); four grandchildren, Isabella, Pyper, Jayson, and Linda; and aunt, Betty Causby (Dennis); an uncle Gene Lowdermilk (Marie); and many cousins.

     A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Bethel Methodist Church of Dry Ponds. Rev. Don Farris will officiate. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the Church.
