Wendy K. Broadnax

Wendy K. Broadnax, age 54, passed away on February 6, 2026. She was born on September 9, 1971, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her loving father, Lee E. Broadnax, Sr., and her late mother, Willie-Mae Broadnax.

Wendy was the beloved mother of Patrick Boone, Jr., Fred Boone, JoeVonte Broadnax, Deven Broadnax, and Marquis Broadnax, Sr. She was a cherished grandmother of Kayshawn Y. Boone, Karter M. Boone, Khi D. Boone, Dontice Boone, Ava L. Broadnax, Marquis Broadnax, Jr., Xena A. Broadnax, Justice K. Broadnax, Ka’Mya R. Broadnax, and Deven Broadnax, Jr. She was a dear sister of Sylvester Watts, Lee E. Broadnax, Jr., Shelia R. Harris, Larry Broadnax, Michael D. Broadnax, Cherri B. Houser, and Sabrina B. Colbert, and a treasured aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.

Wendy enjoyed dancing, horror films, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was the embodiment of a super mom—full of unconditional love, strength, and unwavering support. Through sacrifice, guidance, and wisdom, Wendy was truly the heart of her home and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
