Ozhaawashkogiizhigookwe, Wendy Earth-Simmons, age 45, of St. Paul, MN passed away on November 22, 2025. A visitation was held at 5 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Baadwewidang Community Center on the Mille Lacs Reservation. A Funeral Ceremony was held at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the Baadwewidang Community Center on the Mille Lacs Reservation. With Nazhike officiating. Interment will be in the Bedausky Burial Grounds. Arrangements are with the LeMieur Funeral Home in Onamia.

Wendy was born on October 24, 1980, in Onamia, Minnesota. She was a big, open-hearted person who put others before herself. Wendy was fond of opening her home to those in need, never turning away anyone. Her son Jayden was her everything. He was a gift as she thought she was unable to bear children. They enjoyed collecting teddy bears. Wendy liked spending time on her phone, watching dramas on TV, painting suncatchers, and shopping, especially for Coach bags. Wendy shared an unbreakable bond with her sisters. She was their guide, teacher, best friend, and each other's ride-or-die. Her ability to turn a negative into a positive with jokes and laughter, even in the face of tears, was a true gift and inspiration to others.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Jeremy Simmons; son, Jayden Simmons; mother, Kathleen Earth; sisters, Germaine Wilson, Jennifer Sayers; brothers, Robert Sam, Travis Earth-Warner, Mark Earth;

She was preceded in death by her children Jordan Simmons, Lilliana Simmons.
