Wendy S. Hansen

Wendy S. Hansen, 69, of Cuba City, WI passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. (NOON) on Saturday, April 11th at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI, with Pastor Gus Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Cuba City, WI. Family & friends may call on Saturday, April 11th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. The Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory in Cuba City, WI is serving the family.

Wendy was born on April 1, 1956, to John E. & Janice R. (Burch) Hansen in Rhinelander, WI. Wendy worked for over 10 years in accounts payable for General Electric. She enjoyed writing poems, listening to music, an avid Chicago Bears fan and helping others in need, but most of all, she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Wendy is survived by a sister, Debby Hansen, of Bensenville, IL; 2 nieces: Amy Braido and Kelly Kuman and a sister-in-law, Brenda Hansen.

She was preceded in death by a baby daughter, Jessica Sue Ciszek, her parents, her sister, Marcy Hansen, her brother, John Jeffrey Hansen and a niece, Casey Kuman.

Wendy's family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff and hospice volunteers at Solace House in Madison for their compassionate care and support during her final days.
