Wendy Nelson Jorgensen

Wendy Nelson Jorgensen, 46, of Pleasant Grove, Utah passed away on November 17, 2006. She was born May 19, 1960 in Santa Ana, California to Wendell Blackett and Arlene Aitken Nelson. Wendy graduated from Redlands High School in Redlands, California. She attended BYU and UVSC.

Wendy married her sweetheart, Steve Ted Jorgensen, on February 26, 1983. They are the parents of three children. Wendy was a devoted wife and mother and loved serving and spending time with her family. She enjoyed art, crafts, taking walks, and being with her kids. She was an active member of the LDS church and served in many callings.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Ted Jorgensen; her parents, Wendell and Arlene Nelson, Spanish Fork; her children, Nathan, Aubrey, and Tedi, of Pleasant Grove; two brothers, Kevin (Jana) Nelson, Nampa, ID; Kenneth (Sarah) Nelson, Long Beach, CA; and a sister, Teresa (Tony) Mataitusi, of Redlands, CA. She was preceded in death by her father- in-law and mother-in-law,
Forrest and Betty Jorgensen.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 24, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Battlecreek 2nd Ward, 1250 East 200 South, in Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may call from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a fund has been established in Wendy Jorgensen's name for the benefit of her children. Donations may be made at any Bank of American Fork.
