Wendy Judge-Hawkins Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 5, 2026.
Wendy Elaine Judge-Hawkins, 72, of Spring, Texas, passed from this life peacefully in the early hours of January 31, 2026. She was born on September 2nd, 1953, to Elsie May Crawford and Clinton LeRoy Judge in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Wendy came to the United States in her youth with her sister, Betsy and her parents. They first lived in Corpus Christi, Texas but found their way to Freer, Texas and lived there for the duration of Wendy's childhood. She later moved to Houston, Texas and proudly became a naturalized U.S. citizen. She spent much of her life working for the accounting department of Sun Builders Company and built lifelong friendships with those within the company before she retired. She was a devoted and deeply loving mother who dedicated her life to raising and caring for her daughter, Tiffany, whom she cherished beyond measure.

Wendy loved fiercely and wholeheartedly. She was blessed to rediscover the love of her life and former high school sweetheart, Johnny Hawkins, and together they shared nearly 25 years of companionship, laughter, and unwavering devotion.

Her greatest joy was her family. She adored her daughter Tiffany's children: her grandson, Brennan; her triplet granddaughters, Cailey, Kenzie, Trinity; and her youngest grandchild, Ashlin. She was also fortunate to meet her first great-grandchild, Layla, a moment that brought her immense happiness. Later in life, Wendy lovingly welcomed Johnny's children-Shelley, Christy, Johnathan and their children, as they arrived, into her heart, expanding the family she held so dear.

Wendy never met a stranger and was one of the most giving people anyone could know. Her warm smile and unmistakable chuckle could light up any room, making everyone feel instantly welcome. Her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on through the many lives she touched and the family who will carry her memory forward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Elsie Judge.

She is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Hawkins; her daughter, Tiffany (CJ) Bowles, her stepchildren Shelley (Gregg) Taylor, Christy (Kristopher) Macri, and Johnathan (Janice) Hawkins, her 12 grandchildren: Brennan, Cailey, Kenzie, Trinity, Ashlin, Kaitlyn, Victoria, Alex, Kris, Chase, Natalie, Tyler, her great grandchild Layla and her sister Betsy (Jimmy) Brock.

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Wendy's life.
