Wendy Jewel Northcutt, 64, was born to William and Mary Jo Northcutt on February 2nd, 1961, and passed away on October 15, 2025, while peacefully surrounded by her two of her sisters (Carol Cobb and Janice Silva), her brother Dale Northcutt (Denise), her niece Carmen Crase (Cyrus), and her nephew Armando Silva II (Ayesha) in Snellville, Georgia.
Wendy is survived by her sisters, Sarah Campbell (Ray), Janice Silva, and Carol Cobb; her brothers, William Northcutt Jr. (Patricia), Dale Northcutt (Denise), Ronnie Northcutt, and Jackie Northcutt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Jo Grizzell Northcutt.
Wendy was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church in Snellville Georgia for many years.
Wendy developed an interest in sports early in her life. She played on her high school basketball team at Cave Springs School for the Deaf. She was an enthusiastic supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves, closely following each televised game. During these broadcasts, she meticulously recorded all relevant statistics until the final pitch or down of the game.
A viewing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City, immediately followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. She will be laid to rest alongside her mother, Mary Jo Grizzell, and her brother, Thad.
Her close family members, Mathew Cann, Cyrus Crase, Anthony Lazenby, Dylan Lazenby, Mark Northcutt, Christopher Northcutt, Richard Northcutt, Justin Northcutt, will serve as pallbearers.
