Wesley "Wes" Raymond England, age 41, of Tompkinsville, formerly of Hardyville, KY, passed away as a result of a line of duty incident on Monday, June 2, 2025 with his friends and family members were by his side at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.. Wes was employed by Nelson County EMS as a critical care paramedic. He was a loving father and friend who was there for others when they needed him. He was also involved in law enforcement and fire fighting throughout his many years of helping others. Wes was also a registered organ and tissue donor that was able help up to 170 people through his donation.
He was the son of Jake and Sandy England and Bobbie Bryant Deckard (Albert Eudy).
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Dorothy England; and his maternal grandparents, Curt Bryant and Clara Murrey.
He is survived by his daughter, Hailey England (Logan Grider) of Hardyville, KY; his son, Gage England of Hardyville, KY; three sisters, Blakley Hollinsworth (Logan), Kathy Timm, and Kristal Franklin; four brothers, Adam Napper, Jeremy England (Jamie), Jesse England, and Chance England (Holli); step-grandparents, J.E. and Martha Petett; his EMS partner, Nate Hornback; the mother of his children and former wife of 18 years, Katrina England, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other extended family also survive.
The family will welcome visitors from 2:00 PM CST to 6:00 PM CST on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at The Way Church, with a celebration of life with professional honors immediately following at 6:00 PM CST at The Way Church in Horse Cave, KY. Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville, KY is honored to be assisting with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made in his honor to Supporting Heroes.
