Wesley Amos Livengood III, lovingly known as Lee to family and friends, passed away on November 5, 2025 surrounded by those who cherished him. Lee was a remarkable person whose warmth, compassion, and laughter touched the lives of everyone he met. His unwavering kindness and loyalty to those he loved will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
Born to Patsy and Wes Livengood, Lee grew up with his siblings Blake Livengood and Amy Matejek, forming bonds that would last a lifetime. He was a devoted father to Sophie Leatherwood, Ryan Livengood, and Angel Martin, and shared a loving partnership with Nicole Griffin.
Lee had a brilliant mind and an endless curiosity—he was always eager to learn something new. A passionate sports fan, he loved baseball, basketball, and especially football, where he once shined as an incredible punter. He was a proud supporter of the Tennessee Volunteers, cheering them on every chance he got.
When he wasn’t enjoying time with family or watching the game, Lee could often be found reading or watching his favorite shows, The First 48 and Yellowstone. His generosity, wisdom, and joyful spirit have left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire everyone who knew him.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church West Campus 136 Medical Drive, Advance, NC 27006. Interment will immediately follow the service at Forsyth Memorial Park 3771 Yadkinville Road, Winston Salem NC 27106.
