First, let me say my heart goes out to his family and everyone who knew him. Wesley made friends with everybody he met. He was truly a gentleman and full of life and laughter. He dedicated his time to charities, always selling me a ticket to go to a "bull roast"! He entertained everyone around him when he told his stories and teased to get expressions from those who listened. It wasn't long after I first met him that I continued to run into him eating lunch at Shoneys for years with Pat and David. He was always full of himself! He always told me that "I smelled like a new pair of tennis shoes!" How sweet! ha-ha What a delightful man he was. When I saw the sad news in the paper, it broke my heart to let so much time slip away and not stay in touch with him. He was truly a kind hearted man and a good friend. I will forever miss you Wesley! May you rest in peace now and be with Ann forever... I miss you my friend, Pam

Judy, Patsy, and Kenny -
Sincerest condolences on the passing of your father.
‘Granddaddy O’ was absolutely one of the kindest and most interesting people we have ever met.
On many occasions, he kept us laughing for hours with his zany stories.
We are still amazed at all the different ‘good works’ he was involved in to help others and animals. Yet, it always seemed easy & fun for him to give of himself.
A true gentleman – one of a kind.
Love and peace.

IT IS WITH MUCH SADNESS THAT I SAW THIS IN THE PAPER. WESLEY HAS BEEN A DEAR FRIEND AND CUSTOMER OF MINE FOR THE PAST 26 YEARS AT BMG METALS. WE ALL LOVED HIM AND WILL MISS HIM. YOU ARE ALL IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

A great and wonderful man has passed on. This is a man that touched so many lives, that he will be talked about and remembered fondly for many years to come.
As a teenager I grew up being friends with his children. The house was full of love and always open for us to gather and have fun.
As an adult I lost track of the family, but later found them again. I got to know Mr Williams again and to see the wonderful person he was. I am so thankful for that time.
I will always have special memories of Mr. and Mrs. Williams and the love that was so generously given to every one. Kenny, Judy and Patsy you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Much Love,
Margaret Perkins Tucker

I only had the opportunity to meet Mr. Williams one time. We visited his home with his great nephew, David Wesley Smith. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family members and especially his sister Jean.

Westley and I were part of the never ending ,Church Hill Gang, We had the same almamater, John Smith School. On occaision when we would see each other ,we would sing one of the school songs, he would always end by saying ain't it wonderful. When I would visit Wesley at his home, I would marvel at all things he had,and his interest in all those things, I had to ask ,why?, He said he was a professional "Collector". Wesley had the unique ability to communicate with people of all walks of life, he touched everyone with kindness and concern. I will always remember his dedication to his family, charities, animals. My memories will be everlasting.I would like to offer my deepest condolences to his family.

A wonderful man with a heart of gold. Someone that always smiled and will always be remembered for his quote "Ain't that wonderful!" He will certainly be remembered and someone that you would say you would look up to with pride. Many days he is thought of and we hope that his goodness will continue, especially for the children. We encourage the cause to his charity. God bless him and his family. We know that he is at rest with his love. Many thoughts and prayers to all. Love his great nephew and family, Pam, David, Kayla and Micheal Smith.
