Mr. Wesley Andre "Dre-Bop" Williams, 50, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, transitioned on October 24, 2024.
Mr. Wesley Andre Williams, better known as "Dre-Bop" was born October 6, 1974, he was born and raised in Rocky Mount, NC. He attended Rocky Mount Public Schools.
He was called to rest on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at UNC Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC.
"Dre-Bop loved fishing and was a huge Washington Redskins fan.
He leaves to cherish many wonderful memories, his loving mother, Joyce Ann Barnes; stepfather, Reginald Barnes; his father, Bobby Lucas of Rocky Mount, NC; daughters, T' Quoshai Wright and Joure Williams, sons: Wesley Williams Jr., Shymond Williams, Markeith Moss all of Rocky Mount, NC; two special beloved grandsons, Ny'Quavis Bulluck and Andre O'Neal of Rocky Mount, NC; three brothers: Bobby Lucas, Andre Lucas and Vincent Lucas of Rocky Mount, NC; one aunt, Devora (George) Whitehead; one uncle George (Elaine) Williams of Rocky Mount, NC; special friends: Alexander Knight, Bryon Harris and Marcus Pitt; a very special dear friend, Tiera Freeman; and a host of cousins and friends.
A Visitation will be held for Mr. Williams on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the Rocky Mount chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home, 325 Nash Street, Rocky Mount, NC. Funeral services will take place immediately after the visitation at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the Rocky Mount chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. The interment will immediately follow the service at Williams-Morris Cemetery in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
