Wesley Wilson Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Martin & Hightower Funeral Home - Carrollton on Dec. 2, 2025.
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Wesley Brian Wilson, who left us unexpectedly on November 30, 2025, at just 19 years old. Born on November 7, 2006, Wesley was the beloved son of Brandon and Melissa Wilson, and from the very beginning, he brought joy, noise, and a whole lot of life into their lives.
A proud 2025 graduate of Bowdon High School, Wesley was beginning to step into the world on his own. He was working at Bowhunters Supply Store, a place that fit him perfectly, and he loved being surrounded by people who shared his passion for all things outdoors. Hunting, fishing, shooting his bow-these weren't hobbies to Wesley; they were part of who he was. He felt most himself outside, and he loved sharing that with anyone who wanted to tag along.
Wesley was, in every way, 100% boy. He never did anything halfway. He loved big, laughed loud, and lived with a kind of energy that pulled people in. He adored his family, his friends, and his dog, Maggie, who was always right by his side. He was the one always suggesting a cookout, a get-together, or "just come hang out," because being with the people he loved mattered most to him.
He had a wide range of musical tastes and could somehow remember his parents' favorite songs better than they could. He was quick-witted, loyal to his people, and had a heart that showed up in ways big and small, often without him even realizing the impact he made.
Along with his parents, Wesley leaves behind his paternal grandmother, Genice Wilson; maternal grandfather, W.H. Williams; and aunts and uncles, Stacy & Angie Smith, David & Tammy Smith, and Brent & Casey Wilson. He also leaves behind a crew of cousins and countless friends who will miss him more than words can say.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Billy Wilson; maternal grandmother, Dianne Williams; and uncle, Brian Williams.
Wesley's passing came after an unexpected, unknown battle with leukemia, an illness he never realized he was fighting. In his honor, the family invites memorial contributions to the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, a place committed to helping families facing the unimaginable.
